Fall - 2021

The Annex Intervention was my introduction to computer-aided design. We were each tasked with using hand measurements to recreate the Illinois School of Architecture Annex, then challenged to create an intervention to revitalize the century-old structure. I proposed refurbishing the original structure and replacing the later additions with a modern wing to both increase usable space and spatial experience.

This was an individual project. All 2D drawings were completed in AutoCAD. The corner sequence was modeled in SketchUp, and the intervention renders were done in Revit. Presentation layout was completed in Adobe InDesign.
